Following the passage of Hurricane Maria and the resulting devastation caused to Dominica’s agricultural sector the Rotary Club St. Lucia donated an assortment of one (1) million vegetable seeds valued at approximately EC$5000 to Dominica. The seeds are meant to assist in the revitalization of agriculture on the island, considering that most vegetable crops were destroyed.

To maximize the impact of the donated seeds, members of the Rotary Club of Dominica, Rotary Club of Portsmouth, and the Rotaract Club of Roseau worked together and identified ten (10) high schools, one (1) primary school and the Dominica State College to distribute the seeds to.
